High-Speed Rail for Everyone

The AmeriStarRail (ASR) proposal will expand Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor (NEC) capacity to meet travel demand for the next 20 - 40 years. Our solution eliminates issues and challenges surrounding travel congestion in the Northeast Corridor without the environmental consequences of building more highways and airports.

The 160 MPH top-speed trains include triple-class service for coach, business and first class passengers on every Amtrak NEC train. For the first time, all passengers including senior citizens, students, families, disabled and low-income passengers will have affordable, equal access to high speed rail service in America which is funded by all taxpayers.
