In addition to his career as a rail industry consultant with Hill International, Mr. Vigrass also had his expertise forged at PATCO’s Lindenwold Hi-Speed Line where he retired as the Assistant General Manager. He played an instrumental role in developing the service innovations for the successful start up of PATCO’s operations in 1969 which set nationally recognized standards for service efficiency, safety, reliability and on-time performance.

During his PATCO career, Mr. Vigrass developed equipment maintenance and modification programs which helped PATCO earn a reputation as one of the most reliable rail passenger operations in the nation. Mr. Vigrass has advised AmeriStarRail on strategies and operating techniques to improve and expand Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor service, schedules, routes and reliability.
